March 2012 Meeting Recap

​On Sunday, March 18 from 2-4 PM at the First Lutheran Church on 8th and McGavock in Nashville, TN, we will have our monthly Music City Vikings Lodge gathering. All visitors are welcome!

Upcoming Dates:--Thursday--April 5 –-Board meeting at Shoney’s—6:15 P.M. for dinner- 7:00P.M. board meeting
--Sunday-- April 15-- Group meeting at First Lutheran Church- Language Class at 1:15 P.M. Group Meeting—2:00P.M.- 4:00P.M.
--Saturday-- May 19-- Syttende mai at Ken Sersland. More later.
Announcements:--We need a Vice President for the Lodge. Any Volunteers???
--We need a nice door prize for the convention. If you have something, let Karen Sizemore know.
--The board is looking into starting a scholarship fund for the young members of our lodge.
--Lodge has started a children’s group, we need used U.S., Canadian and Norwegian stamps for one of the projects they will be
working on.
--I need a volunteer to help take pictures of meetings and events. Contact Larry Sizemore if interested.
--Needed--Information to put in future newsletters such as family history, vacations to Norway (with photos), recipes, jokes and
any other interesting Norwegian information. If you have any questions, contact Larry Sizemore.
